Brandon Atwell 2010 Recipient of the 

Carroll Dale Outstanding Receiver Award

Former Green Bay Packer Wide Receiver presents the first annual, Carroll Dale Outstanding Receiver Award, to Brandon Atwell, of George Wythe High School, Wytheville, Virginia. Brandon will play his college football at Ohio University, where he received a full athletic scholarship.The award is named for Dale who was a high school standout at J. J. Kelly High School and Virginia Tech's first All-American. Carroll earned two Super Bowl rings for his play at wide receiver. Dale is currently the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Athletic Development at UVA - Wise. 

Drew Lester 2010 Recipient of the

Mike Compton Outstanding Lineman Award

Former New England Patriot Center & Offensive Lineman, Mike Compton, presents the first annual, Mike Compton Outstanding Lineman Award, to Drew Lester, of George Wythe High School, Wytheville, Virginia. Drew will attend the University of Virginia. The award named for Mike, was a high school standout at Richlands High School and a concensus All-American at the University of West Virginia. Mike earned two Super Bowl rings for his play at center with New England. Mike is currently the Head Football Coach at Patrick Henry High School in Glade Springs, VA.

Brandon Atwell, the first recipent of the Carroll Dale Outstanding Receiver Award, follows his blocker Drew Lester, the first recipent of the Mike Compton Outstanding Lineman Award, with Drew in the lead Brandon was always good for extra yardage .Brandon is a member of the Ohio University Team and Drew attends the University of Virginia and works in football offfice.
